My background
I'm an illustrator, bookbinder, and collage artist who currently lives in the Midwestern United States. I offer traditional and digital illustration work, and take commissions for bookbinding or fiber art work. I am willing to ship work worldwide.
My experience and education
I've been drawing since childhood, but became a professional illustrator when I graduated from Herron School of Art. I graduated with a degree in Drawing and Illustration, minors in Book Arts and Art Hist
My vision
I would consider my work to be surrealism, but with a heavy influence from pop art. I enjoy the dreamlike visuals and strange content of surrealism, but choose to create a surrealism that is colorful and pleasant, as opposed to the typical ominous/creepy content. I prefer traditional art to digital, because of its tangibility.
